Terms of Service
Last updated: August 18, 2026
Geblom is operated by Apex Prime Tax LLC ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of Geblom, a mobile application for tracking groceries and expiration dates. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
Using Geblom
You need an account to use Geblom. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old.
Please use Geblom for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service, and do not use it for anything unlawful.
Subscriptions and payment
Geblom offers an optional paid subscription, Geblom Plus, which unlocks recipe suggestions built from food that is close to expiring, a choice of when expiry reminders arrive, and one-tap portion logging for cooked food. Geblom Plus is available as a monthly subscription at $2.99 and an annual subscription at $19.99. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, under Apple's Media Services Terms.
If you do not subscribe, or if your subscription ends, the free features of Geblom remain available and your existing data is not deleted.
Your content
The pantry items, shopping lists, and household names you enter remain yours. We store them so the app works and so members of your household can see them. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
You are responsible for what you add. If you share a household with others, remember that they can see and change the items in it.
Expiration dates are estimates
This matters, so it is worth stating plainly. Geblom estimates use-by dates from item names and general shelf-life guidance. These estimates are approximate and are not a food safety guarantee.
Always use your own judgment, and follow the dates printed on packaging. Do not rely on Geblom to decide whether food is safe to eat.
Availability
We aim to keep Geblom running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
Ending your account
You can stop using Geblom at any time and request deletion of your account by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or misuses the service.
No warranty
Geblom is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Scanning and product information
Geblom can add items by reading a photographed grocery receipt or by scanning a product barcode. Receipt text is read on your device; barcode numbers are looked up in Open Food Facts, a free public database maintained by its contributors. Both are estimates. Item names, categories, and suggested use-by dates may be incomplete or wrong, and you should check them before relying on them. Use-by estimates are a convenience, not food safety advice; when in doubt, follow the packaging and your own judgement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Geblom, including spoiled food, missed reminders, or lost data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Geblom after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
